From Past Students...

I liked how Miss. Reusch reviewed the techniques and elements a lot to be sure we knew the foundations of photography.

Miss. Reusch was so impressed by George Washington Academy's academic excellence, mission, and philosophy, that she moved all the way from Buffalo, New York (with her fur-baby, Bond-the-beagle) to teach art here!  She holds her Master's degree in Art Education from Boston University and Bachelor's degree with a concentration in photography from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.  Miss. Reusch has taught multiple art classes at the high school level but is very excited to now be teaching her favorite grades! Not only is she a visual artist but she participates in the other arts as well; some of her favorite activities are acting/singing in community theatre productions and playing her violin.

Please take a look at my Teaching Philosophy (a.k.a. why art is such an important part of education)!

I learned that when you're disappointed in your own work, there is always another approach unique to you.  It was hard NOT to learn in her class because she was such an awesome teacher and person!

Miss. Reusch always encouraged me in my work and other situations. There has never been a more qualified art teacher in my opinion.
