What We Are Learning This Week in 3rd Grade (9/8 - 9/12)!

 

This week we will focus on the art element of light(value)!  Students will look at artworks and discuss how light can create mood in art.  Students will then have a chance to come up to the board and demonstrate how to draw and shade a 3D shape; this is in preparation for next week when the students will be creating a composition of 3D shapes with a focus on light/value.
